San Sebastian

San Sebastián is located near the French border, right on the coast and nestled between green hills. As early as the 19th and early 20th centuries, the city established itself as a seaside resort for the wealthy upper class and gained international renown. The city beach La Concha is still one of the most famous urban beaches in the world. The film festival and the distinctive gastronomic culture, characterised by a large number of renowned chefs, also contribute to the city's continuing international presence. At the same time, San Sebastián retains a strong local identity and proudly cultivates its Basque traditions.

Visit this coastal city with one of our team's architects: in addition to the impressive Art Nouveau ensemble in the city centre, there are also contemporary buildings such as the Kursaal, the San Telmo Museum and Eduardo Chillida's ‘Comb of the Wind’, which make architectural reference to the topographical and landscape features of the location.
