Tour in Copenhagen:
Nordhavn – Copenhagen’s cutting-edge harbour district

Sustainable economic growth and secure energy and water supplies are among today’s key global challenges. As the first country in the world, Denmark has decided to lead the transition and become a green, resource-efficient economy entirely independent of fossil fuels by 2050. The City of Copenhagen is developing a new climate plan to further reduce CO₂ emissions and show how cities can take ambitious action on the global climate crisis.

Nordhavn is Scandinavia’s largest sustainable urban development under construction (200 hectares). This harbour redevelopment will consist of housing, shops, cultural institutions, sports facilities, and state-of-the-art recreational spaces. Designed as a model for future smart cities, Nordhavn features integrate solutions for transportation, renewable energy, and data collection as a basis for the next generation of smart city services.
