Swiss architecture is defined by new experiments in the field of construction - based on local traditions, good handcraftship and the love for perfect details - as well as by the topics of urban development and sustainability. The fair and museum-city in the border triangle has a considerable density of high-quality buildings, for the pharmaceutical industry, housing constructing, school or hospital buildings. Openness and the spirit of innovation characterizes the flair of the city, which may be called international like few other Swiss cities. Trading center in the border area, art-depot in the agglomeration, elite stadium for the football nation, fair construction for the Art Basel: The city enjoys international attention in terms of architecture. ARCHiTOUR organizes architecture excursions for groups, guided by architects. All our tours are customized on the clients requirements. Beside Zurich and Basel we offer tours in Lucerne and the mountain-area Graubuenden. Breaks at interesting design spots are part of our tour-program.
