Tour in Langhe & Monferrato:
Architecture & Wine

This tour combines visits to world-famous wineries renowned for their Barolo production with remarkable examples of contemporary architecture created by local Piedmontese designers. It offers an in-depth exploration of how wine culture and architectural innovation coexist in the Langhe landscape. Among the highlights is La Brunella Winery in Castiglione Falletto, designed by Guido Boroli in 2006, where traditional winemaking meets a refined, modern aesthetic. In San Cassiano, the Ceretto Winery at Monsordo Bernardina by Luca and Marina Deabate (2010) showcases an elegant interplay between transparency, landscape, and production spaces. Equally striking is Cascina Adelaide in Barolo, completed by Archicura in 2004, featuring a contemporary reinterpretation of rural forms. The itinerary also includes Terre da Vino in Barolo, designed by Giovanni Arnaudo in 2010, and the Cantina dei 5 Sogni in Monforte d’Alba by Fondamenta (2020), an example of thoughtful integration into the hills. The tour concludes with a visit to the François Confino Wine Museum at the Castello di Barolo.
