Colours, Underground and a Tower

In the first part of this tour, we take time to look at the details of the award-winning metro stations on line 4 and one of the city’s most successful neighbourhood development programmes. We want to understand how to build 30-metre deep yet wide spaces, how to deal with colour and how private and public developers can successfully cooperate with each other.
Afterwards, we will explore the south of the city by bike, where two new city districts are planned to rise on both sides of the Danube. We will be able to look into Budapest’s future, discuss problems of local urban planning, but also enjoy a fantastic view of Budapest from the city’s highest tower.
