Tour in Geneva:
New districts around the CEVA stations

The city of Geneva has five new stations along the Cornavin – Eaux-Vives – Annemasse (CEVA) cross-border railway line, which connects the entire Geneva metropolitan area, spanning both Switzerland and France. These stations were built following the architectural model of glass brick slabs, inspired by 1930s architecture and designed to bring light down to the platform level.

During this tour, we will visit one of the stations and several of the new neighborhoods developed around them, such as the new urban center near Lancy – Pont-Rouge station, which includes the construction of approximately 550 housing units promoted by the Canton and a large activity sector; the New Geneva Comedy Theater in the Eaux-Vives district; and also the new buildings around Chêne-Bourg station, with projects by Lacaton & Vassal and Group 8.
