Tour in Granada:
Urban Evolution

Granada is a city composed of different neighbourhoods distributed across five hills, the oldest being the Albaicín. With clear traces of Hispano-Arab architecture, the city evolved after the Christian conquest, transforming spaces to adapt them to a new culture. From the highest viewpoints we can clearly observe:
• a traditional cave district and the Albaicín, with its narrow streets and stunning views of the Alhambra hill, leading down to
• the flat area of Granada

The city centre and surrounding neighbourhoods also feature contemporary projects that illustrate the dialogue between tradition and modernity, as well as the challenges faced by historic cities regarding the preservation of their heritage.

A full visit to the Alhambra on the following day completes the experience, offering an in-depth understanding of one of Andalusia’s most interesting historic cities.
