Out & About: Housing Rack / Pre-fab House in Berlin

The six-storey residential building with office space on the ground floor is made with prefabricated concrete elements that are otherwise used for the rapid construction of commercial halls. This allows for maximally flexible floor plans for rental flats and residential studios between 30 and 110 square metres. To make this experiment possible, the architects themselves acted as builders.
