Tour in Seville:
Contemporary Architecture in Seville

In recent decades, architecture in Seville has gained international recognition thanks to leading firms such as Cruz y Ortiz, Vázquez Consuegra and Antonio González Cordón. Today, a younger generation of architects is taking over with new approaches to the city — including studios such as Sol89 or AF6 Arquitectos, which from a small- and medium-scale perspective help redefine how Seville addresses its major challenges: the dialogue with its past, new climatic strategies, and more.

The tour includes several urban and architectural spaces designed by these outstanding Sevillian studios, as well as works by internationally renowned architects who have also left their mark on the city on a larger scale — such as the famous Setas by German architect Jürgen Mayer, which revitalised an entire neighbourhood, or the elegant and controversial Torre Sevilla by Argentine architect César Pelli.
