Tour in Vorarlberg:
Hospitality Architecture

Vorarlberg is one of those rare regions where contemporary architecture and regional cuisine both emerge from a deep tradition of craftsmanship. Design hotels, wineries, and art cafés coexist harmoniously with alpine farms and cheese restaurants that celebrate local ingredients and heritage.

Herzog & de Meuron’s Kleiner Löwe demonstrates how a small building can become a design gem, offering minimalist rooms and a serene garden. In Dornbirn, Hotel Flint blends finely crafted concrete architecture with genuine local warmth, embodying modern hospitality in Vorarlberg. For alpine tranquility, Peterhof combines traditional woodcraft with sustainable design—energy-efficient chalets with larch-shingled façades, positioned to frame breathtaking mountain views, and a restaurant showcasing alpine flavors.

Throughout the region, hotels and cafés serve not just as places to stay or dine, but as architectural destinations, often enhanced by lakeside or alpine culinary experiences. With Guiding Architects, visitors can enjoy tailor-made tours that reveal Vorarlberg’s seamless fusion of design innovation, craftsmanship, and culinary culture.
