Tour in Paris:
Contemporary Architecture in the City Centre

Over the centuries, French rulers have sought to build symbolic structures that reflect their personal vision of the city or what they imagined it should become. In the heart of Paris, a fascinating dialogue unfolds between historic and contemporary architecture, contributing to the identity of the city center, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This tour offers an immersion into the major projects completed in the last forty years, while placing them within the context of ten centuries of construction shaped by successive political wills. It provides a deeper understanding of contemporary architecture by placing it in perspective with Paris's centuries-old history.
